Hi, I’m Sina San—a Cambodian American visual storyteller, EMMY®-winning VFX Art Director, and independent creator.

My journey began as a background colorist under Image Comics. I went on to design 3D environments for games like Shrek and Star Trek: Dominion Wars, and later worked on films like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. In television, I contributed to shows like Fringe and Minority Report, and earned an Emmy® as VFX Art Director on Gotham.

Today, I focus on creating original work that blends mythology, culture, and cinematic design. My latest project, KRU: Rise of the Ghost City, reimagines Cambodian mythology through a modern urban fantasy lens—beginning as a comic book and building toward a live-action series.

I tell stories that connect past and present—where heritage meets imagination.
